life paintings as well as vibrant garden artwork in watercolor and acrylic.
Kendahl's floral still life paintings incorporate oriental vases and rugs
and her garden paintings often include close-up images of flowers as well as
distant garden images of flower beds and rock arrangements. Still Life
artwork with orchids is also a subject which Kendahl gives much attention
to. Many of Kendahl's floral paintings are enlargements of natural flower
gardens in the Rocky Mountains and the Pacific Coast. Wildflower paintings
occupy a large space in the scope of Kendahl's floral artwork portfolio and,
in fact, wildflower artwork is her main focus for many of the Western
galleries that represent her art.
